I am a Zambian Journalist and winner of the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF) African Journalists Award in Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights Reporting.

 

Zambia is one of the countries in Africa that are still facing serious challenges in the promotion primary healthcare owing to various factors that include inadequate health financing, poor infrastructure, deficit of health personnel, traditional and cultural beliefs, and legal barriers, among others.

​

Therefore, I use my expertise as a media practitioner to promote Health in Zambia and Africa at large, by highlighting the deficiencies, and successes in service provision, as well as providing checks and balances on the Health policies, and the commitments made by various countries.

 

This blog provides an opportunity for the readers to know more as I delve into the issues surrounding our health and well-being.
